God Pursued First and Stayed

So God created man in his own image, 


in the image of God he created him; 
       

male and female he created them. Gen. 1:27 NIV

The LORD God said,
"It is not good for the man to be alone.
I will make a helper suitable for him." Gen.  2:18 NIV
 

2:22- Then the LORD God made a
woman from the rib he had taken out of the man,
 and he brought her to the man.

 2:23-

The man said, 
       

"This is now bone of my bones 
       

and flesh of my flesh; 
       

she shall be called 'woman,  'for she was taken out of man."

 2:24-

For this reason a man will leave his father and mother
and be united to his wife, and they will become one flesh.

In God's Word, the Holy Bible, God is the one who pursues and stays. He creates man in his own image and then  provides a helper for the man. And then He designs the woman out of the man. Clearly God does not want anyone taking credit for his handywork *coughs- Darwin's theory of evolution.  In today's world the role of man and woman are at odds against each other and that's the way Satan wants it to be. 

As (ladies) we await the arrival of the one that we've been dreaming of since childhood. Trust God that He has this man in store for you. He's the very same God that created you. I made the detrimental mistake of pursuing the man first. All of this lines up with God's Sovereignty and His Creativity and His Character. He designed the man after His own image. He didn't make our future spouses to act like animals or donkeys, they were created with a purpose. Both man and woman were created with different purposes that glorifies the character of God.

In upcoming blogs, I'm going to talk about the man's role and the woman's role and I confess that God has the most amazing sense of humor because my future spouse is on this Earth somewhere and I have no idea what God is doing with him but I do know that God has him and God has me.
